Sodium Laurel Sulphate & Sodium Laureth Sulphate
SLS stands for sodium lauryl sulphate and SLES stands for sodium laureth sulphate. They are very similar and are found in most shampoos, foam baths and handwashes. Basically, it's used to make bubbles ! But the down side is that it has long been known that SLS can irritate the skin. We choose to avoid it in the products we buy and we have seen a difference in our skin condition.
Parabens
Parabens are a group of chemicals which are used widely in the world of cosmetics and toilettries and are used for their antibacterial and preservative qualities. Again, many people complain about adverse skin reactions including rashes and irritation. As the products we choose are used by the whole family, we don't like to use products with Parabens
